BILL MANN
Bill Mann is a down-home country man selling big town boats. Covering both North and South Carolina, you might as well say his office is his truck because he will travel anywhere he is needed – up and down the coast or inland lakes.
Born and bred in North Carolina, Bill is a good old southern boy who was taught to be truthful, courteous, and polite.
He shoots straight from the hip and is forthcoming with all information he knows about the boat you are seeking or selling. As far as he is concerned there is a right way to do business: Build relationships first, be truthful and most of all try to make it fun.
To Bill, there is no greater feeling than seeing a customer taking possession of their dream boat. Yes, the money feels good in his pocket, he says, but knowing he did everything right means the world to him.
He has spent most of his career calling on high level corporate CEO’s, as well as marketing and purchasing officers during his 47 years in the printing industry. He started in the marine industry in 1999 part-time and went full-time several years later.
Most of his listings are freshwater Cruisers from surrounding lakes that are generally low-hour clean vessels. He has shipped boats as far away as Australia, British Columbia, Canada and Mexico.
He passes on his knowledge of general maintenance requirements, running vessels, general use of trim tabs, engine trim to obtain optimum performance and safety tips whether in saltwater or freshwater. He also held his Captains License from 1990-2006.
Fun fact: He grew up fishing with his older brother and has personally caught a blue marlin.
Bill is the “Mann” for the job when it comes to picking out your next yacht.
